Keepsake box # 3

I wanted a Royal Engineers themed keepsake box so I made one for myself.

Wood used is 150mm slats from an old bed.

The drawers were made from wood/plywood that I salvaged from the drawers of an old wardrobe.

The drawer knobs are not yet finished in these photos. They will be made with the miniture RE cap badges that can be seen in the photos with some chromed metal spacers.

Made this jewelry box for the wife with mahogany achitraving thrown away bu one of our neighbours. Added the photo of the grandkids to finish it off.

Made this one for myself out of left over mahogany and softwood.

This is a prototype of a Royal Engineers themed etched copper clad board in a photo frame with flashing LED back lights.
